Bump for a sweet homemade custom pieced. You are the man with LEDs snworomance. Clean and professional looking job. This setup makes the 3rd brakelight super bright and matches my LED tail lights perfectly. You could make your own but it would be nowhere near as clean and perfect as this. Great price and quick shipping. Excellent personal service. Not that i want everyone to have all the mods that i have but this one i think should be in every xB. It is truely a great deal so jump on this guys!!!!

well the LED supplier miscommunicated amongst itself and nobody actually made my bulk order of the amber LEDs i needed when i ordered them. So the whole month i was waiting...nothing was happening like i thought. They ordered them little over a week ago, should have them by the end of next week or so i was promised. I will definately take my business elsewhere from now on if they dont.

Got some voltage regulators and other electronic stuff i needed to finish the job though yesterday :-)

im currently building an LED circuit board for a guy's bmw spoiler he sent to me to hopefully fix.

I definately will keep you guys updated!!!

did anyone ever figure out the cruise control problem, i switched mine out for a led board and it made the vsc, trac, and stuff come on, i switched it back to the factory bulb and it fixed it, i work on GM's all day and they guys that are putting in the leds on their trucks are having a lot of problems with the cruise not working, and for some reason it runs through the third brake light, switch it out and it works fine again, for some reason the resistance is wrong and it thinks that the brakes are on, and believe me their not happy about it when you tell them either here is a link to my led tails and there is a link in there for a video clip as well so check it out, and snow i know you already contacted me about your lights.

You can get them at any electronics store or website. i just grabbed a couple from radio shack. the 3rd brake light i didnt bother with one because its only 4 circuits and heat wont be a major issue not to mention they only come one when braking. there's gonna be more than double the LEDs in each tail light and that will generate more heat so i wanna run them at an easier intensity for the LED.

yes i figured it out. im sorry i should have gotten back to you about it. Just like with turn signal circuits...its the resistance. i mean obviously thats the only difference between LEDs and filament to whatever logic is controlling or overseeing the circuit. You will need to put more resistance like the ones you use in turn signal LEDs in your brake light circuit as well. I havent done this yet but have read from a lot of people with other cars that have and say thats what fixed the problem. It sucks these newer cars are designed to run with filament bulbs but thats just the way it is so we are stuck with having to simulate it with our LED retrofits :-(

Thanks snowromance for your shipment. I have received them and left feedback, however, my xB in the shop after only 3200 miles and the a/c compressor has literally torn apart from the inside. the tech showed me some bolts that hold it onto the mount which I was able to see threads. Anyway, I won't be able to install my lights just yet. I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks RT. I put the light on tonight and at first, there was no light. so I switched wires. Wholla, LET THERE BE LIGHT! I just wished there were more lights across, nevertheless, good job though. Thanks again for the board.
