hey eek, "sausage machine" so funny cause i keep hearing brandon and roy (i-club members) using that term. and from first hand experience the ladies have given me compliments on my box. even today got 2 compliments from 2 different girls.

i think the only time they even got the girls to turn heads at them when we were standing outside of PT.

 

my boyfriend and I started talking he liked my car at the time. I had an 83 Celica GTS lol.

i don't know about girls but damn... the wrx STI is my dream machine.. if i could afford one I'd buy it instead of the xB but until college is over, I'm going to have to settle and not a bad car to settle with :D

Girls do not know what a Subaru WRX is. Their heads will turn if you drive a very high class car or an unusual car. So chicks do dig teh box.

haha yeah, that's where i got it from.. did bran tell you what he's planning next for his wrx? fricken guy.. when he's done with this particular round of mods, he'll be up to 260hp.. and it will be hella loud!! hopefully his new rear lip comes in soon too.. dang i'm jealous!

If you want a Sausage magnet, feel free to purchase a WRX. Every dude at a stop light will either 1, want to race, or 2. hear your exhaust (i've ridden in a friends).

 

The WRX is ugly, I own a 03 and never like the looks. The xB maybe "cute" to girls but will give you no status. My buddy here has a Lotus Elise, now that car draws crowds, girls go crazy, people nearly wreck when trying to look at it driving by. I want an xB because I like it and it gets good gas milage for my commute. No matter what I drive I know girls will just have to except me for who I am, just a normal nice guy with a 14 inch *****!

 

I love the new STi's look. but i still prefer my box.... and only SOME women are more interested in the car... and most of those are 1. either trophy girls, 2. after any money you may have, or 3. wants to be cool and thinks that thier bf's car will do it.

I have no respect for any of those times of money chasing women.

 

Why in the world would someone campare the 2 cars?

It's apples and oranges man. They are 2 different classes of cars. The Xb IMHO looks cooler but I couldn't see one's car getting hotties over the next. You can drive a freaking pinto as long as you play your cards right that hottie is hopping in your car that night ...forget a WRX....if I wanted a fast car it wouldn't be an over rated WRX or the STI, but an EVO or an 03 cobra hands down

 

maybe cause members of SE hang around with I-Club members here in hawaii. and we know we got apples and they got oranges. just when girls drive past our ego's start to grow about why the girls were looking or waving. lol. it's all just fun and games conversation. like what we all do in hawaii. just kick back and relax and watch the surf and bikinis. lol. can't take things to serious just enjoy life.

it's not the money to finance the wrx it's the money to keep it insured.

 

You're right about the insurance. I haven't had a ticket or accident in 8 years and they have raised my rate every year I have renewed and not by a little to adjust for inflation. So when I call and ask they say it is because they are reclassing my car. It's bull that after every new spotless year they reward me with a rate hike!
