Default does anybody know about scion security?

i just purchased my o5 box and i have security stickers on my window and the block of scion security with the led in my car under my little compartment, but my key fob has unlock/lock and panic. i know the panic works lol i accidentally touched it. but i have no idea if i this means i have scion security? or do they all come with the little scion security block factory but never installed fully?

id like to know, ive tested it by trying to open the door while locked and manually pulling up the door lock. hmoph im stumped

If the sticker is there, and the LED indicator is there, then it should be installed. Make sure the car is armed (the LED should flash) then try opening the door, or tap (carefully) on the window with your key.

Scion Security is an option. It consists of a few pieces and a harness. The main visible component is a plate that fits in one of the switch blanks on the center console. It has an LED and a microphone (to detect glass breakage).

After the PM conversation we just had, the dealership needs to address this. The system is more than they are letting on. The Toyota/Scion security system is the RS3200 Plus.

Odds are, you paid for it too, so make sure you're getting what you should have.

I also picked one up that will get installed over the winter. There are much better alarms out there, but this one is very impressive when you see all that's been put into it. Disabling the B, and making noise is all I need. Mr. Glock & myself can take it from there.

pdf sheet: http://www.trdsparks.com/install/08586-52961inst.pdf

36 pages on this Kinda why I haven't installed mine yet,

Page 25 starts the testing and arming procedures that should help you out.

Yea, I haven't installed mine yet either.

Ooh, another thing to try. If you remove the glovebox, there's a module to the left that has a dial on it. That's the microphone sensitivity. I've heard that it needs to be at '8' to be effective. (Toyota sets it at 6 from the factory). Crank that bish up and test the glass tap again.
