Halogen bulb?!

That would be perfect!

Can anyone confirm this or get a part number?
Thanks!
Check this list:

The bulb is a DE3175 - I picked mine up at WalMart - I'll check the packeage at home - it was a 2-pack...

The LED dome light is cool, but I was hoping for something brighter.
Do you think the Raybrig R104 Super bright Dome Light 10W would fit?

I took the harder way out and fished some wires to the rear and added another factory dome light I bought from the dealer over the cargo area. Wasn't real hard to do, and it came out perfect. Actually it was so easy, I'm going to find a Toyota part for map lights for the rear view mirror in the front.

I accually installed 2 small LED array (3 LEDs per array) in the back "trunk" area, and wired them to the mid dome light.... So that way they come on when the dome light is on..... looks nice! Illums the rear trunk, and still fades w/ the dome too! cost $10

I got a Green replacement bulb for my camo green xB and it is brighter and it does fade out after u lock the doors like the stock light. The effect is nice and for $5 from ebay its the cheapest 'toy' i have added (also super easy to install - pop dome cover off, pull out old light, push in new one, replace cover).

Do you have pics of the install? I am mainly curious about the actual mounting of the light, not the wiring. How does it mount to the roof?

I have pic's.....just no place to store them anymore. But anyways, I made a "Plate" out of thick plastic sheet I bought at Home Depot. The plate was about 6" by 6" square. Then I laid the new dome light on top of that and traced a pattern of the dome light. The area that needed to be cut away to make the light sit flush with the headliner. I cut out the pattern with a sabre saw and drilled the 2 mounting holes. After you cut the hole in the headliner, (scary part) you just line everything up, screw it to the plate, and it holds tight. You still need to glue the plate in place on the inside of the headliner, cause I found that it still moves around even though it is screwed down tight. I used 2 part epoxy. The whole job a few hours, but it was really worth it.

i purchased the blue and super white led dome lights from www.autolumination.com. Neither are as bright as the stock one but the white one looks better cuz its much whitier than stock. Bulb size is 31mm.
