Put in a Greddy turbo timer this week and ran into an issue. For those who don't know, a turbo timer keeps the engine running for a set period of time after the car is parked and the key removed. It does this to keep oil flowing to the turbo bearings until they cool down a bit.
Anyway, right now when I take the key out I can't lock the doors until the turbo timer shuts the engine off. Is there a way to change the security settings so it will still lock with the key out but the engine running? I added the security later (free, won it at a show) but it's the factory Scion system.

I would think if you looked at the wiring diagram of the scion security system you would find a wire that is fed by the engine computer telling the system the car is on. Fix that wire so it always thinks the car is off and you are good.
