Just had got a big run around from my dealer. They had told me i should be able to get my box with 1 thousand down, but know they are asking for 2100. How much did you people have to put down. Now remember that I dont have bad credit I just dont have any credit. Any suggestions on what I should do?
You are not required to put any money down....does it help your monthly payments? yes.....they are still required to run it through.......I would also suggest you contact your bank to see if you can get a loan through them too.....also maybe your parents will co-sign for you also?

I would of got my parents to co sign but they have worse credit than I do. I know going through my bank will help but Ive only been working with Toyota for A lil over a month and only been with my bank for 2 weeks. I know that affects the loan situation right?
oh yeah.... your jakt! having a new car is cool and all but work on your credit rating first or they are just going to SPANK you on the rate. thats why they want so big of a down.

if you have no credit, then i doubt you will get away with nothing down. you will need a co-signer also. dealers can require you to put something down since they are the ones loaning the money.

This is the position most new car buyers often put themselves in. They wat a new car now, and then down the road they want another new car, compounding their debt.
