Dub Box is back with Pics
Okay,
We were talking 20's on the XB without major problems. We are talking minor adjustmentswith less that 2 hours from 15's to cruisin on Dubs. Right?... Right! Firstly, most people try to get cheap when rims are purchased. "How cheap can I get it done?" Right? Right, Secondly, I will be the first to admit that style weighs heavily when purchase decisions are being made. Most never concern themselves with fitment. They just say I heard someone put 20's on an XB or I saw some on an XB so that automatically means to most that all 20's will fit. Not true.
To important factors are the key elements to fitment.
1. Width of rim
2 Height of tire
Given the proper elements to above factors and the SCI is the limit.
Yesterday I posted that I have installed 20"S on my new XB (less than 7 miles on odometer) (less than 4 hours after putting the first key in the ignition) and that I would provide pictures of this tomorrow and I must say there were many non-believers.
Some posters suggesting B.S. and others saying these statements would dis other XB owners from the side of the big island. I must say however, that we here in Florida land have only had the opportunity to have XB for less than 24 hours and the Pacific Rim chaps have been tooling around on 19's for months with no idea. Don't get mad-I am just stating what you aready know to be the truth. How many have 20's and if there are so many why have you kept it such a secret?
My buddy installed his 20"s today and I had the opportunity to capture some pics of the install so that we all could understand minor adjustments as opposed to major mods.
I decided not to put all the pics on this post so that the readers don't become bottom feeders and go to the pics without value of this post.
