Default electric power assisted steering for 2006 scion xb

Does anyone know if it is possible to do electric power assisted steering for 2006 scion xB?

If it's possible, where would the parts and instructions
come from on how to install?

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't either, I think it turns really easily and responsively.

my freind and i was thinking that if we did this mod it would free up the stress on the motor for more HP and better MPG. Also, for my wife to turn the 18x8 wheels on the front. She sometimes has a little hard time to turn the wheel.

You could be the first to do it!

They made an Echo with no power steering at all, I bet that frees up power.

The power gained by getting rid of the hydraulic system will be eaten up by the electric one.
