Electrical accessories effect on FE
I came accross this on Cleanmpg.com. I don't know how true it is but others might chime in with an opinion. About negitive impact of electrical doodads on FE
Accessory FE loss
The Radio: .1 MPG
Rear Defrost: .8 MPG ,
Headlights: .9 MPG
Fan on High: 1.3 MPG
Accessory FE loss

Probably has more to do with hybrids and their batteries but it will have some negative aspect on our cars as well. Mechanical Load loss due to engine subsystems. More work for the alternator - uses more fuel = lower FE.
