So where does one get there car tested for decibal levels?

i got the magnaflow muffler on my scion...with 2.5inch pipe from the cat to the back...i gota cop buddy taht'll sign my ticket...so it'll be about 10 bucks. with no court. so ima take my chances again later! oh by the way...does anybody know if they keep fix it tickets on my file or something? so next time they pull me over n see them..is there gonna be a big red flashing sign on their computer sayin CHECK THE FRONT WINDOWS!! hah you know waht i mean? damn all these lame rules! i think there needs to be more crime..or atleast more doughnut shops here in cerritos...grrr...has anybody been pulled over in cerritos? holy ____ they are pull-over-happy! i got pulled over a few weeks ago "for looking too young." to be honest, id rather pay 30 bucks and keep my dignity...oh well, gotta love dem piggies!

What the state did is that IF you get a citation, you have to take it to a state referee performing the test mentioned by George. Unfortunately, you can't just roll up to get your system tested. Only if you are cited will the ref test you. According to a Sema article I read, 90% of vehicles tested PASS! So I wouldn't trip too much... here is a link to the article:
