I am going to try to construct some eyelids for my xa I will be using a resin mold to create the plastic peices and wanted to get some feedback on styling.

You might actuallt want to brong it down some...over the orange. I tried it like that and it just doesnt look right..it doesnt cover enough to even be considered an eyelid when your actually standing in front looking at it.

Take a look at the Fabulous youll see what I mean.

I also like the eyelids that SCI FIRE has up there, make those in black sand pearl and I'll purchase them! Especially if they are plastic...

 

What ever happened to BlueBat's xA eyelids... did i miss something? or did that not happen?! :?:

OK I went to work on them this evening they are a cross between the Gray one in Scifires pic and My version A it drops down over the Yellow turn signal about 1/3 and then down. I've taken pics of the start and I'll update the photoshopped page to include my final design.

its still gonna be a few days for the masters to harden then I need to set up the mold and pour the resin so I'll sow em when I can along the way!

 

I've pm'd andy(bluebatmobile) about the xA eyelids. I even told him i'd be the test xA to get it done, but i haven't heard a reply from him. It was like 2-3 weeks ago i did pm him for it.

Hey Tiber, is that a cf hood i see? And if it is, is it a vader style hood or something?

 

Nope thats the Front End Mask you can buy from the dealer for $50 The rest will soon be protected by a clear bra.

 

anyone know where to order some eyelids. any kind, i really like the fabulous eyelids.

 

Look closely at the Fab eyelids. The bottom line of the eyelid is a perfect continuation of the curve of the bottom edge of the hood. That is why it looks so wicked, instead of sleepy or slanted or wide-eyed.

 

SCI FIRE, do you know where you can get those 2 eyelids you had in your previous post?
