Hopefully the rest of you guys here that have been waiting as long if not longer will get good news as well.

I was in the middle of work and the phone rang, it was my dealer. He called me on his day off to let me know that the xB had "flipped". By this he means that it was now scheduled to leave the port on the 18th and should arrive any day from the 18th to the 21st. If all goes well, i can pick it up over the weekend, but by Monday the latest is what Dan informed me. To help speed this along, i have to meet with Dan tomorrow night and get the financal out of the way, and then give my VIN to my insurance company Friday so i can drive it off the lot when it arrives. Just thought i would pass along the good news, and hopefully all of my RS1 brothers have the same great news to follow.

 

Nice... my dealer is off today as well. Tomorrow... hopefully he'll have the same good news for me. Mine doesnt call me on his day off

 

My dealership got theirs today. After seeing it in person. I'm glad I got my Black Cherry xB. I don't really like the color at all, sorry fellas. Just not my cup of tea.

 

that's funny, I didn't care much for it UNTIL I saw one. But I still love my Camo, it was my first and only color choice.

 

Reminds me of Barney only Orange To each his own man.

 

OK, now im lost. If it is Big and Orange, how the hell does it remind you of Barney, that PIA purple dino?

Bright is a good thing. I forgot though, you like dark colored cars, and dark wheels too. Must be a Mafia thing huh ....... oh shsssshhh keep it on the down low, dont want to end up taking a swim with the fishes.

 

It's my dealer's day off too, or else I would have called 'em. I'm going on Sat. to do all of the financials and insurence stuff too so I can pick it up as soon as it gets there. Does anyone know how many RS 1's are going to be in Jersey alone?
