I got a question, what paint do you use to to paint the front emblem and the wheel covers? I am planning to paint them also after I get my xB (just got 1 order!) and I need to know some good paint so the paint won't chip off later. Thanks for your help in advance!

 

mine is sherwin willaims only because thats waht we use at my shop. its just straight up auto paint.

 

Nice ride. I would find a big fake bee and put it on your bottom grill--it looks like a honeycomb--which is what I think you must have had in mind.

 

That piece is hot....what paint did you use on the inside...as far as brand and does it chip easily...cuz i wanna do mine interior as well

 

i used the same paint i did on the exterior. it is from sherwin williams new line called planet color...the name is 24 karat. the only difference when painting interior pieces is you need to spray on an adhesion promoter so the paint sticks and doesnt flake off.

Looks really cool, I actually like the wheel covers, beats the gray. Love the interior, that's been on my to-do list all summer. I have used the adhesion promoter and it works great...

 

thanks alot im my old car...which was a neon i bought the krylon spray paint witch isnt suppose to flake but it did...so i wanted to learn the right way to do it for my baby...

now is the adhesion promoter sherwin williams or another brand or will any brand do

 

any brand will work..i would recomend using the same brand as the paint you are using..if possible, if not, anything will do really.

just follow the directions and your good to go.

how did paint the parts on the steering wheel? do they come off or did you mask it? im doing my interior this weekend and i wanna hit all the silver parts
