Default First Mods... What To Do?

I have around 2500 to put into my toaster and I don't know what I want my first couple of mods to be. I want to supercharge it eventually, along with rims and all... But I want to do some cool mods and not just spend all the money on one big mod alone yet!!

I was thinking in dash monitor, xbox 360 hooked up... Along with DVD player!!

What else should I do... Please spit out your opinions they will be greatly appreciated!!

If you got 2500 USD to blow off the top, I'd really check out the superchargers now. They got some nice ones in the forced induction forum. When I get the time, I plan on researching the universal s/c that ati makes. I had really good luck with their s/c on my crown vic, but haven't looked at their compact models.

The way I figure it is you can nickel and dime the cosmetics a piece at a time. EDIT: Cause heaven forbid you ever need the power, that x-box ain't gonna cut it

I would highly recommend shavin a couple inches out of them fender wells and drop it. When I dropped mine it seemed like it rode better, obviously it looked better too. Even with the stock steelies and caps, it just lookes 100% better when you bring it back down to earth!! Not only that, it's cheap & Easy!

I'm still rollin on stock steelies...so no clue! haha -- I would assume some clearancing may be at hand, maybe some fender rolling? After much deliberation, I feel that I have made the decision to go with 17s when I finally get new wheels/tires. I like the compactness of the xB when it sits as low to the ground as is functionally possible.

They're claiming anywhere between 45-70% for their subcompact models with 7-9 psi, 2 or 3 core models. I think the universal compact is a 2 core, and you'd have to tune it yourself. You can check it at procharger.com. Installation for my other car was a piece of cake, but I'm not sure about the universal kit. Check out the forced induction forums for other models too. I guarantee you some are cheaper than ati.

first, you should do some simple mods that can be don ein the DIY section. They're extremely cheap and very cool!

as for spending $2,500 on a s/c, good luck finding one for that price. Get a turbo kit, they've got more power and are cheaper.

OR....

go for a full interior modification. Leather seats, tv's out the ying-yang! and a kickin' stereo!

just stay away from dealership options at this point. I made the mistake of getting every dealership option at the time of purchase...and i paid out the ___...

its up to you, whatever choice you make, you'll deffinately be happy with it!

I only said I had 2500 bucks for mods, not 2500 for a S/C... I want to do small stuff right now like interior and exterior modifications!!

depending on what you use, will depend on what needs to be done.

It's most likely your cookies. Go into Internet Options on your Control Panel and then Delete Cookies.

I'm getting the vibe that you should def check out the DIY section - stick with the easy stuff for now (suspension, wheels/tires, interior) - I would stay away from engine mods as severe as you are considering. I see a detonated motor and a voided warranty in your near future if you do. Not only that, I think people have unreal expectations of the performance of their scions (xA and xB anyway).

What does a SC or TC decrease your ET to anyway? I'm guessing a second and a half or so on both? I could see if you're looking to get down into a 7sec 0-60 and a low 14 quarter - but your not going to do that unless you have A LOT of other options other than merely a forced air induction system.

Am I wrong?

ya what he said ^^^
plus you could get a really good intake/header/exhaust setup and still have enough money to drop it and get rims

Nah... I don't want or need a SC or TC right now... Maybe a year or two down the road I might consider it I think!!
