what did you use to paint the plastic/rubber bits under the hood almost looks OEM

 

If it was envy green then the rims wouldn't be green.......thats just too much green and have to say no to that. Never want to match your rims to your paint.....don't look good

and the pieces under the hood are painted with Fusion Plastic Paint from walmart

 

I wish I could get my girl to respect the 1st gen... she wants a tC since she wrecked her Galant sunday

 

Yea she fell in love with as soon as she saw one. We traveled 4 to 5 hours to get one......thats how bad she wanted one

 

Some Tien springs should do the trick, and they're GREEN!

 

haha yea through about those but then I decided to go with the CM Springs......I would like an even drop on the box......got them in today actually and will put them on and paint the calipers/drums this weekend.....will post pics when it is done on sunday probably

 

The box overall is fine. I am not a fan of greens like that much but the engine bay, interior and little green appointments work together and with the TCM and look fine. The wheels however are hideous. Too much of a good thing. They totally detract from the look of the car imo. When i look at at pic of this box all I see is green wheels. Something more subdued in a greenish cast might be ok, but, I really think a more standard chrome, black, grey, gunmetal, polished or billet look wheel would be a very big improvement.

 

Thanks bro......Yea the rims used to have black spokes with the gunmetal inserts ya know but we wanted something different so thats why we went with that. No one has bright colored rims around here or in South Louisiana period I think........jus bringin JDM to the south lol

 

i LOVE the rims!! The interior would look better to me if she had the crystal ***** for the a/c, etc. row

And the springs are going on tomorrow and the calipers/drums will be painted after the springs and I'll update with pics on sunday......can't wait to see the results

how did u get the dash green? did u paint it ur self?

 

Yep painted it myself. Just took it apart, roughed it up a bit so the paint could stick a lil better, then painted and cleared. Real easy to do. There are plenty of tutorials and DIY on here.......just search and get it done.
