i went out to look at the mats and see how easy they would be to measure and give y'all some dimensions. then i realised my car is litterally filled with stuff. i could measure the driver side right now but i thought maybee this had been posted before. in looking i remember the above write up that george did for custom mats. he actually made them quite a bit larger. you might prefer the larger dimensions if so im sure he would happily measure them off for you.

as far as diamond plate

pm gabe (stylis) and he will shoot you the info.

Dimensioned drawings are not all that simple to make, since each person has different needs and the footwells are rather complex in shape.

I made a set of full-coverage mats for my xB by making paper patterns of the footwells. With a paper pattern you can cut and tape sections to see how the finished product will fit around the bump, lumps, and seat pedestals.

My mats are decidedly lacking in bling-bling, being made from heavy duty Home Depot carpet runner, and going up the sides of the footwell to prevent sand from getting underneath. However, they are easy to keep clean, much easier than the dealer (grrr) mats.

For a simpler set of mats, see the tech page:

These worked OK, but I prefer my newer, larger mats.

Hey doc, if you have a Costco near by, got get a set of their kirkland floormats in charcoal.....they are a PERFECT fit for the scions, and are of WAY better quality than the option mats.

AND, the cost 20 bucks ;)
