Default Fog Lights - "bouncy" ??

Does anyone else have the problem af their foglights being bouncy? I had mine installed by the dealer (who is 7 hours away or i'd go back) and they just seem to be really bouncy. When you drive at night you can see light move up and down on the road every time you hit a bump. Is this a common problem?? Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't you be able to bring it back to any Toyota/Scion dealer?

Do you have an AEM intake? When I installed the AEM it hit the fog light, so I revved the motor the light would move. Just need to adjust things to make it fit better, or get out a hack saw and make some adjustments  .

My drvs one did with the AEM intake on, all I did was push the filter a little farther down to add clearance, problem solved.

I have the Injen intake. I will look tomorrow and see if the filter is touching the light. I put the wheels/tires, exhaust & intake on the day after I got it so I have no way of knowing if the lights bounced before the intake was put on. I'll check it out. Thanks

I had the same problem on my box with the AEM CAI and the fog lights took it to my dealer and they tried to fix it but the stupid tech didn't use a rag around the screw driver and messed up the bumber really bad. Took it back in for them to see and they sent my car to the body shop and had it sanded and painted bigs ups to to Santa MAria toyota for that. The service manger explained the problem to me about the conflict of the aem and foglights and toyota has sent out a simply fix for now and my be doing a more accurate fix in the future so expect a call from us sometime about it. Not sure as to the accuracy of the next fix but thats what I heard.

They just snap into place. See if you can move it with your hand. Mine are pretty solid in there (I installed them). Maybe they didn't get one of the side totally snapped in?
