Default Front bumper lower lip

Hello everyone I have an 05 XB bcp. I hit a piece of steel on the freeway and punched a hole in the lower lip. I just ordered a new one from the dealer and it should be here by Friday. I would like to know how difficult it is to replace. Thanks.

its really easy.. hardest thing is getting under the car .. All you need is 12mm wrench i believe and flat head or pliers for those clips..

It is easyer just to take the whole bumber off the car first, and then change the lip where you have room to work.
All you have to do is take the grill off(3 plastic snaps), and then remove the bumber i think there is a total of 10 or twelve bolts. And then there are 4 bolts that hold the lower lip on.

Must be a California thing or something, the roads here are always littered with garbage. I see things like mattresses, chairs, wood, a few ladders so far and pretty much anything on the roads here. It's really f*cking irritating.

About a week ago a truck in front of me on the I-5 kicked up a large piece of wood which bounced off my front fender, windshield, and finally the side mirror. I got really lucky since when the wood hit the windshield it bounced off my wiper blade and mangled the hell out of it but didn't break the glass. The paint got a little scuffed on the fender/side mirror but it buffed out.

Come on now. Your from Detroit and you've never seen the crap littering the roads? You need to drive the interstates more often. lol
Just the other day I spotted a 10 ton bottle jack, on it's side smack dab in the middle of a lane. It had already claimed one victim. He was on the shoulder 100 yards down changing a front flat.

yes very easy to remove, I would try and not take the whole bumper off at first unless when you get under it, you can't do it then yea take the bumper off, and it will make it easier to swap out, but a little more work.

good luck.
