I have a MT and have a 65 mile drive to and from work. All highway miles, and get around 35MPG.

Driving to and from work, 25 mph to 60 mph, I get usually 30 mpg.
On my recent trip to the mountains, 75 mph, I got a little better 32 mpg, I was surprised at how well the "Short Bus" did in the moutains.

I got 29.88, 30.30 and 30.50 MPG on my 3 last tanks. I have a automatic with cold air induction. Hopefully, the mileage will just keep getting better as it breaks in. I'm pretty happy with what I've been getting though. I drive 40 miles each way to work, most of it highway (but then there's always traffic to slow things up anyway).

I drive 112 miles a day in stop and go traffic all the way up to 80 mph highway runs (then right back down to 10 mph) I havent had my box long enough to estimate but It takes just a hair over a quarter tank. so thats about 3 gallons of gas so like 35 miles to the gallon. Definately a step up from my wrangler......love my box.

This is freakin ridiculous.

I'm lucky if I get 200 miles on a tank.

WTF is wrong with my car?

I've tried driving a whole tank while keeping the engine from revving higher than 3000 rpm (yes.....a whole tank............it was painfully slow.......I felt like a damn granny all the time). The BEST gas mileage I got from doing that was 24. My normal mileage is 20-21.

___!

What the hell? This is an old topic and last time I read those threads very very few folks were getting 30+... in fact most of us were complaining.

I have 2500 miles on my box and if i drive it like a soup kitchen christian i can squeek out 28 maybe 29..... Now I drive it like a orange go cart bad-outta hell and avg about 26-27.

Are you 30+ folks completely stock or what???? I am all stock MT RS1... except for 17' wheels... but my engine rpms run same as stock 4K @ 80MPH. Frustrating!

I hope I see a little bit improvement with new exhaust and CIA.

Just made a run up to Kansas City from Ft. Worth in the manual box. 550 miles @ 3000 RPM/60MPH = 38.3 MPG. Prevailing winds out of the south, pushing all the way. Coming back against the wind: 3600 to 3800 RPM/70 to 75 MPH = 28.75 MPG
