For the same price, I could get a Daihatsu Copen.

I bet you have to pay cash.
Because they are not made anymore. All the one's above are new cars. That and the only skylines worth getting are the GT-r's and those will run you at least $50k when it's all said and done.

If they are made in manual, I would like to get one of the awd bB's. That really isn't too much for a very uniqe car here in the states. I bet only a handfull will make it to the U.S.
Wicked!

sorry to rain on the parade but it would be cost prohibitive to bring in a bb. to legally import a non-us vehicle, you have to go through the usdot and epa to have the vehicle conform to the standards. there are shipping agent (i forgot what their official title is) that can convert any vehicle to us spec.

however you can legally import a 20 or 25 (can't remember which one) without having to "update" to us standard. this is the reason you see lots of old minis on ebay for sale. some persons would go around the law by stripping the vin off the old vehicle and retitle the newer vehicle with that vin (i can't remember the exact phrase for it). this is usually done on the minis because there practically no design change son these classic minis.

if somehow these bbs are being re-vinned, then you can "legally' bring them in but then you can't tell anyone it is a new model ....

We have the skyline in the states its... ready?... the infiniti G35! I wouldn't get one, but I have seen a two door with the skyline 350gt bagdes on it, it actually looked really cool! and I also saw a new 4door civic converted to jdm (tail lights and all). Its the civic ferio. If i were to bring a car from japan, i was going to bring the mazda rx8, but i was VERY dissappointed when i drove one. I would bring the fairlady z. now thats a bad ___ car!! my bro's got the 350, but the fairlady, plus I would trick it out and put it in shows (represent the company and all).

sure you can import a bB, but driving it legally would be another story. it won't be able to be driven unless it is converted over to the us specs.

you bet... your bb will find its home in an impound lot indefinitely. i remembered back in the 80s when bill gate tried to bring in a porsche (can't remember which model) from abroad but he couldn't get it certified for the road. it sat at an impound lot forever. don't know if he did finally get it to pass us regulations.

Nice find! Did anyone else check out the colours? The white pearl is looking quite nice, as is the dark metallic gray. Notice that the "hot lava" is a normal colour choice available in Japan, but no BCP or Camo...

Anybody know the fuel ratings on the 1,300 cc engine? Could the performance be that much weaker than the 1.5L?

If you read the FAQ you would see that is is a Wire Transfer only. Then its 4-5 Weeks to get here. I wouldnt mind partnering up with that company, sell some right hand drives on ebay... get a lot of Honda Heads to buy the cars at twice what you paid so they can part them out and make a JDM Civic.... Ok noone steal that Idea
