Not really... if you clear a flat finish, it is more of a satin finish...The part is still flat, but the gloss gives it some shine...

but she didn't put a clear coat on the paint. i believe that would have been typed, she said a gloss on it. Clear and Gloss are totally different. she said it is a "Flat Black Gloss" is still confused as to how you can have a shiny flat black. Oxymorons are a BIOTCH!
