Hey all,
I was just takin a look at the 05 and 06 comparison and was really liking some of the body stuff on the 05. A lot of the comments about how the 05 is nicer looking than the 06, i saw what they were tlaking about. My 06 should be here on the 22, I just got back from the dealership and while i was there I took a look at the 05 i originally test drove and was paying more attention to the things i wont have. I dont regret my purchase or anything, im mad excited but, Could we talk about some of the awesome things the 06 has that the 05 doesnt? haha, and lastly, the 05 i saw in person (never have seen an 06 in person) has that rounded rear end and almost all the way around, I totally like that. Are the 06's shaped the same? Oh well.. thanks guys, im still excited to actually talk about having the car.

the bumper and lights on the 06 are different. The skirts are painted, the grill is different. the side mirrors have turn signals, the steering wheel has audio controls, near the handbrake has an auxillary jack, the seat material was changed, the pioneer was manipulated to a dial

That's what I know about the 06

 

I am aware of the bumper changes and the side skirt changes. Problem is, the rear bumper on the 05 i like better, and i kind of like the 05 grill better too. I havent seen an 06 in person though, im mainly concerned about the roundness of the back end and even around the whole car, did they keep the curves?

 

When you get your '06, I'm sure that you'll see that the 06 has many advantages. While some of the styling is questionable (I like the 06 styling better), the stereo (w/ steering wheel controls and AUX input) is a hugh improvement.

 

Only things good about the 06 are the new taillights. Having steering wheel controls means it will be much more difficult getting aftermarket stereo system.

 

i prefer my 05, i dont really like the 06 that much

 

You will enjoy your 06, only cons are crappy mpg and handling in snow otherwise Car is awesome

 

Yeah im sure ill love it, one Q, what makes the handling crappier than the '05 or were you just refering to the xa in general?

 

dude the handling in the snow freakin KICKS BUTT and lots off it too!!!

i enjoy driving in the now with my lowered car very enjoyable
