Yes it is. But I made an aluminum piece to direct air down to my radiator, and also to direct water down out of the engine bay.

:D Hey Munch, looks great!
Was it an easy install? Did the kit come w/screws because I heard some of the kits out there use zip ties :?
(I like your plates by the way...funny!)

No zip ties here. The grills come with all the brackets and hardware you need to install them.

It was an easy install. The install took me about 45 minutes to do. I've had my plates for a long time now. They ____ of the local Honda crowd. I love it   .

These grills have better cooling than the stock grill. The stock grill is solid and dosen't let air through, this one does. The billet grill replaces the stock grill.
unfortunately, thats not true, the billet grille makes the engine run hotter cuz it lets all the air into the engine bay thru the grille and actually creates pressure in the engine bay, thus not lettin the air enter in through the radiator as it was designed to do. The billet grille that comes with the hot lava has a peice of plastic behind it to block the airflow for this very reason.
Well according to my digital temp gauge my car runs 10 degrees cooler than it did before the grill change. I go by numbers .
what kind of digital temp gauge do you have?

Try Randode's grills. They look pretty similiar. If I go with the mesh upper, I'll buy his stuff too. But those billets look sweet too!

Randode stopped selling his grills. On the website it says discontinued.

I think that mesh grill is nice too. I also think it' would look fine with the stock lowers if you were to paint them to match the color of the upper. Just a thought.

Hmmm, this changes my plans! Guess I didn't check out his grills lately. I still think the mesh grill would look sweet by itself.

I would want the lower grills to be exactly the same as the top stock grill. Easier to dry after washing, and would have a great monochromatic look.

I've heard those grills suck..............sorry bro. I think you are supposed to zip tie those things to the stock grill. Mine are totally different than those. They come with thier own hardware (brackets and bolts) to secure them to the car.
