Default Grill logo swap?

I've seen a few pics of xB's on imagestation with a skull or some other ornament on the upper front grill. Where can I go to get somthing like this? (link wise)

I took off the rear emblems, and plan on meshing the lower griils, but the top stock is staying. However I dont want people to be able to identify my car.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi - How did you remove the rear emblem? Scion emblem theft is a common problem amongst scion owners in my part of town - I want to pop mine before the bad kids do it first.

Thanks

I just made my own. Basically you start with a belt buckle and a bolt and work from there.

On this link https://www.scionlife.com/tech/ you will find all tech articles for your ride. The emblem removal article is like the 5th one down. However instead of using the pry method, I used dental floss, and eventually got enough of the emblem removed to just pull the remainder off.

When you remove the Scion from the grill it leaves a square hole. You can either fashion something to attach there, or just buy a bB emblem to use as a mounting base. That's my plan. I actually got the bB emblem in a giveaway at a Scion event and I'm making a Raider emblem to go over it.

Does anybody know where to look (albums or stores) for classic Toyota emblems. I tried googling for a little bit, but came up empty handed. Any Ideas?

I think people will 'know' it's and xB... A little unique looking. J/K I like the idea of making your own emblem/ornament. Sounds sweet!

I want a Toyota logo on the grille.

As far as I'm concerned "Scion" is just a retarded marketing gimmick.,

I drive a Toyota.

When people ask me what it is, I say "Toyota"

I found a skull belt buckle online that should make an interesting replacement. Maybe wire some LEDs into the eyes?

Yeah, I call it the Toyota Scion xB. May want to head over to your local Toy dealer and checkout the engine and examine how the front emblems are installed on other Toy cars. Primarily any Toyota that has a vertical front grille. Some are secured glued/welded pins right on the grille assembly.

I like the older Toyota LandCruiser grille emblem, big bold letters that says: TOYOTA! :D Perfect for my TCM, a color available also on the LC.

Search "Toyota emblem" on eBay and you'll have several to choose from, including TRD badges.

Yup. I remember getting one of these emblems:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33643

As seen in the pics it has a flat thick adhesive backing. I have not measured the the square "hole" of the grille, but if it is big enough, something like the above may fit over the "hole." It is advisable to fill in the three smaller holes with something, maybe heat resistant filler. Not sure. Just to minimize debris, rain, etc, entering the smaller holes.

I searched googled and ebayed "toyota emblem" and I still haven't found what I am looking for. I'm trying to find toyota emblems from the 60s up to the 80s. Didn't toyota have an emblem that was an upside town triangle with a "T" and some stars in it?

Default Mercedes Emblem

I just ordered an aftermarket Mercedes hood ornament and trunk star. For the grill, I am going to make a yellow square smiley face to mount flush with the grill, filling the square opening. With all the billboards around, I think most literate people know it's an xB. The rest can just remain confused.
