Have you ever noticed?
No I hadnt , I have been SUCH a mellow driver since Owning my bB. I was always in Low cars and angry Everytime something big blocked my view . But now that Im higher , only a small Number of vehicles block and irritate me .
But I was watching a commercial the other day and saw an xB back up to a wall . And it did , ALL the way .
I new the BoxyBummy was flat , but really did not know untill I saw that move .

happens to me all the time, I attribute it to LA impatience, nothing more. Maybe they want to read the stickers on the back of my car that say "sh/t happens" and "my child is an honor student at the local grammar school he/she attends"

I love the crap out of the ones that wait till the last minute to start slowing down and it seems like they don't have enough space to come to a stop without hitting the back of your BOX. It is even worse when you are already stopped and have to trust the other person!

I've noticed this way too many times and I've only had my box for a little over a week now. Why I haven't went off on these imbeciles yet is beyond me.
One thing that I have noticed that tends to help (about 8 out of 10 times), at least at night, is to flick the 4-ways/hazards once when they get to the point you can still see their bumper. Usually the imbeciles will stop right then at that point. Only question I have about this tho, is.. Why does this particular action (the flash) make imbeciles wake up and take action?
Off to find me some super bright LED lamps to put in the back!
I live in Los Angeles and drive on the oldest Fwy , the 110FWY, it has SO many sharp turns and its narrow with Exit/Entrance`s that ' T ' with the fwy, and STOP signs to GET ON .
Well on that fwy the , Everyone has to tailgate , because if you give more than 12" between you and the bumper in front , Someone WILL try to Squeeze into that ! So with the speed / narrowness / turns / T exits / 2 and 3 lanes ONLY , its actually safer to tailgate.
I do that ONLY on that fwy and NO other or even street .
AND fredalan , how about turning your back windows washer the other way so that it squirts the one behind you .

That might work but you would have to bump up the pressure for it to come out harder than a trickle.

I guess if your up for a car wash at the time and your doing above 70mph , just do your front ones . I hate it when someone in front of me does it , usually just after washing it .
I know how you feel. I had a guy a week ago who was on his cell phone and only about a foot away from my bumper going 45+ right before the intersection where I knew we were going to stop. I purposely slowed down to 20 sowly because I knew he was going to be paying attention. Even at 20 going from 20 to stop when we got up there he slammed on his breaks at the last moment and missed my car by a few inchs. Then he has the nerve to drive into the oncomming traffic lane so he get around me and into the turn lane. Some people just don't care about their own safety or their cars.

It's SAD but to most people their cars are like any other appliance (washer ,dryer and fridge). People like that should have to have some kind of markings on theur vehicle to warn others that they take no pride in their ride so we can stay way clear of them.
