Default HELP! I can't make a decision!

So I've got an xB in my near future!

I'll be completing my BFA in May and the box is my graduation present from the parents!
I've finally convinced my dad that the xB is such a great little car, it would really be a shame to wait around until there are none left. (And he's not arguing with the price!) So it looks like all my research and hours I've spent on this board have paid off and we'll be getting the car early...before they're all gone.

So now that the xB is finally in reach I can't seem to make up my damn mind! I keep going back and forth and back and forth on what color xB to get!

So first I thought I wanted Polar White....then I wanted Thunder Cloud or Salsa....now I'm torn between Balck Sand and Shadow Mica! The only colors I'm NOT considering at all are Polar White and Blue Onyx.

So now I turn to you guys
Here are the things I plan to put on it:

Weathertech smoked bug deflector & window vents

And this grill:

I'm not doing any fancy pants rims or anything, probably just the standard alloys and such in like a painted silver....no chrome or colors. Let me know what you think....I'm currently leaning towards Shadow Mica as there is a lovely one that lives down the street I keep admiring. But you know...I'll probably change my mind tomorrow.

ANY AND ALL HELP APPRECIATED! GO CARDS!

First off, CONGRATS on both counts

Go for a light color unless it will be kept in a garage and never driven. LOL My BCP is a royal pain in the butt to keep clean and scratch free. The Scion paint is crap, PERIOD. White and TCM will not show the abuse of evertyday use. I wish I had known before I got it.
The choice is yours so choose wisely. It's too bad we didn't get a better choice of colors. It's like they are all old people rental car colors. Where are all the bright cool colors???? RS 1,2 and 3 excluded. LOL

TCM has the best paint quality (three stage versus the others' two stage, not counting the RS colors), and it hides dirt very well, but man is it bland.

I have one. I hate the color.

I agree with Jethro, BCP looks great at shows when clean, but thats the only time I ever see them clean.

Shadow Mica looks GREAT, as does Salsa.

The TCM with gun metal rims looks great. As Max said--it is a three step paint job--so a little better than the others.

TCM Baby,

I had a BSP also, the xB looks great in any color IMO.

TCM is what I'd choose. Keeping my BSP clean is an unbelievable task and I can't imagine many of the other colors are much easier.

Geez, you guys are quick!

So you don't think the smoked deflectors and vents are going to look weird on a color as light as TCM? Thats my big concern cuz from what I read the bug deflector is damn near essential. And I love the look of window vents.

I don't like clear deflectors...although that would solve my problem, wouldn't it. Decisions, decisions!

I'm going to chime in and say TCM ro Shadow.

So far I love my TCM and even more so since it stands out compared to the stock boxes out there.

Just bought the TCM, and while I love my car and do not regret it, I feel a little boring when I look at it in the parking lot. I just came from a yellow Beetle (yep, and it was a lemon) and silver just seems boring.

But I don't have to worry about keeping it super clean, like the black and blue. If I had a choice of any color, it would be the RS 3 Envy Green. Envy is correct.

If I had a choice I would have gotten the Lava. My all time fav.

If I had it to do over, I'd buy a TCM. At the time, we were replacing a totalled car and needed our new xB to arrive before the insurance benefits (rental, etc.) ran out, so we took the first available xB equipped as we wanted.

Now I wished I'd paid for the rental out of pocket for as long as it took not to have to buy a dark colored xB. ANY dark-colored xB. Because as I walk and drive around Philly, pretty much every dark xB I see that isn't still dripping from the car wash is d*i*r*t*y looking.

The only ones that look ok when they're not freshly washed are TCM and PW. (I haven't seen enough yellow and green RS's to tell with those).

If it's true about the better paint on the TCM, that seems to tip the balance. I've always hated silver-type cars, but I'd make an exception for a TCM xB. If I had it to do over.

If I had to do it all over again, I would pick the TCM. But my brother already purchased an xB with that same color, so that wasn't an option. I ended up with a BOP because I always had a preference for Civic SI like blue, but wished it was darker. At least the color is more apparant than the BSP because its hard to disguish between the windows and the paint.

U should look at the salsa red because that's a really sexy red and I'm assuming your a guy so it should be aok..

I love the Shadow Mica. It is just a great color. Yeah I have to clean it more. But I'll deal with it. I nearly bought a TCM and I'm so thankful I didn't.

BOP from a distance looks black to me. SRP is brighter than BCP but not enough to make a difference.

BCP has more of a purple hugh to it. That is what my wife said anyway. I trust her since I have troubles with color.

I say go with Shadow Mica.....I think that is a Bad A$$ color plus there's not quite as many of them around as lets say TCM....I see that color everywhere...that was the color I originally wanted but after seeing them all over the place I changed my mind. Just my opinion

I'm going to have to say...BSP...of course I'm biased cuz that's what I'm rollin...Yes, it's hard to keep clean but if you don't mind the work it takes to it clean (which I don't) then I don't think any color is better...except for all the RS colors...Just wait till next year when I repaint mine a two-tone with all scion paint codes....BSP and Hot Lava two-toned?
