Default HELP looking for info...

i need some info.
i am looking to change out the final drive on my xB.
i need to get the part numbers from an Echo Hatchback 5 speed tranny final drive ring and pinion...

as the hatchback was never sold here in the US i can't get the info from any US dealers.

if anybody has a good contact for parts in/from canada...let me know.

if i can get a vin number from an Echo Hatchback with a 5 speed i can call up and get part numbers...but i can't find any.

can not use parts fron the Sedans...wrong gears...

please help...

Well, he's got some stuff going on right now, but shoot a PM to Will, here's his profile:

He's in Alberta, I think, so maybe he can help you out.

I checked out a Canadian destination Echo today in my catalogue, but it came up with the same part# for the ring gear as an American one even though it was a different model number. Sorry!

the final drive in our xA and xB is 4.31

as you can see, the drop to the sedan ratio is too much...

and the tranny was finnaly taken apart last week for the gears...
the other time was the burnt out clutch....
