Default Help! Looking for a NEW 06 Xb in White

Hello there.

I am a newbie here..
I have finally saved enough for a Scion XB

I know it might be really tough but I am looking to locate a brand new 06 XB in white. I don't care about other options but it must have an automatic transmission.

Does anyone know of a dealer that might have a new old stock of XB in white?
I am located in the US and willing to travel across the country to buy one.

Thanks!

"really tough" is an understatement.

You can go to a dealer and ask them to locate one for you. They'll be able to tell you if there is even one available.

My salesman said when the 2008s came out, there was a rush to buy the remaining 2006s, and the sales force sold the last of their 2006 new cars and demonstrators to friends and relatives a year ago. There is no likelihood of any dealer holding an unsold 2006 for the past year. You should be looking for a good used one.

If you can't find a new one you can always search nationwide for a very low mile one with www.autotrader.com
Good luck in your search.

What they all said. Carmax lists 7 used 1st gen white xB's nationwide, from $12.9k w/ 43k miles to $15k w/ 23k miles. I'm fairly certain you won't find many with under 20k miles on them, and most likely none new.

Autotrader is being a PITA right now. Everytime I try getting to the used Scions it freezes up.

Won't happen. Scion had a count down of remaining xB's http://www.thelastxb.com/

They are done.

ps I am a dealer and can do a nationwide search, there are none.

Good news... I just did an autotrader search and found 4 white auto boxes with under 10K miles so you should be able to find the exact box you want. There were like 5 with under 10K but be prepared to pay over what they cost new. Check it out. Here is my link I used. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...sfyc=&systime=

I'm amazed how much they are asking for those - More then when they were new!

I know it. If you want to play ya gotta pay.
I can't understand why someone that wants a box so bad had to wait and save for 2 years after they went outta production to get one.
I would have been begging, borowing and stealing to get one of the last ones if I could.

The low mile ones (under 10K) I saw on Auto Trader were like 15-16K.
Not too awful bad if you must have a near new one.
I want to pick up a used one in about a year for my wife to drive on a daily basis when her Sentra dies.
It's at only 120K and still going strong tho.
She is still pi$$ed at me that I turned mine into a show Box.
I told her that I didn't plan on falling in luv with it like I did.
Yeah right!

Myabe she's jealous you might love the car more

I know my wife gets mad when I spend 2-3 hours at a time working on dash customization, speaker boxes or running wiring.

To the OP, are you set on white or looking for other shades as well? Looking back I kind of wish I ordered thunder cloud metallic instead of black.

Sometimes I think she really is. It's all good tho.
Yeah, if you broaden your color variety some you might have more boxes to choose from.
For me, when I couldn't get a Lava new I settled for BCP. My other colors would/ should have been PW or TCM if I knew how crappy the OEM paint was.

I could not really afford mine in oct of 06 but I was scared so I scraped and made it happen, and could not be more happy. When I heard they were gonna be done in dec I was like yea just do it. Then the RS4 came out and I was kinda dissapointed but TCM is a good color, I wanted PW but they were all gone.

Got mine May of '07. Year 6.5 PW with less than 9000 miles on it. It's the promotional vehicle driven by the fleet manager from work to home.. For the low low price of 14,995 and they even left the Scion Enkei's on it.. I just got really lucky that's all. I almost bought a BOP one with 53K on it for a little bit more than what I paid for the PW..
