Default HELP!!! VSC, TRAC OFF, and CHECK ENG light on......

My BOP xB is like 2 weeks old. This morning on the way to work I had to "punch" the accelerator for the first time to avoid an accident (evasive maneuvers). As soon as I did that my VSC, TRAC OFF and CHK ENG light came on and won't go off. The owners manual says to take it to the dealer.

Thanks,

John

And that's exactly what you should do. Let us know how it works out.

NEVER EVER read the manual!!! What good info is in the manual!! Next thing you know, you will be lost some where and look at a map for directions!! Those lights come on every Thursday!!! Its a weekly test!!! Of course goto your dealer. Its all free anyways!!!

I just had the same problem on my Xb that I picked up last week. They had to replace the
VSV and charcole cannister. They claimed this came from over filling at the pump. Theysaid that when the gas pump stops don't try to add alittlr extra, over filling pushes fuel up to the cannister. They also said most check engine lights were coming from not tightning the gas cap after fueling.
