THANK YOU! I was worried the bike would put too much pressure on the spoiler, but it looks like it worked for you! I will have to try it. Hopfully I get my XA tomorrow!

Alright folks, the trailer hitch for the xA is out and ready!!! I just had mine installed today at noon central time. Cost is $157.75 + 34 to have it installed (without wiring for a trailer). I could've installed it myself, but just got too excited to see it installed . I'll be pulling a small trailer (approx 400lbs) with 1 sportbike (420lbs wet weight) , riding gear and misc. equipment (60lbs.) along with myself (190lbs) for 1.5hrs one way, mostly staright, flat highways.

Just to let everyone know, it is a bolt-on install, no cutting, welding, tapping or the like. The hitch is so inconspicuous, hardly noticeable at all. Hitch rated at 2000lbs. max.. Don't know about the car though ;).

Here are pertinent info. to help you guys out:

Hitch Manufacturer: Da Lan (sister comp. of Curt mfg.)
Part#: 247488
Price: $157.75

Houston, Tx. Local dealer: Master Hitch (713)9744440. (they have one left as of 5/10/05)

I am not affiliated with any of the above businesses, I just want to make it easier for other members to get a hold of an awesome hitch for the xA.

I can e-mail a pic to someone who can post a pic, since I don't know how to, hehehe.

It is the RhodeGear Super Cycle Shuttle. I searched on the web and I believe that this is the newer model of what I have.
