Dang, I don't feel so bad for paying $10.5k for my '04 w/ 66k miles.
Of course, I bought it from a used car lot a guy down the road runs himself, which helps. His low overhead + gross ignorance about the Scion brand helped me.

Fuel efficient cars are getting hard to find. With 31/35 MPG, he will get that price.
The new xb's gas mileage isn't anywhere near attractive, what it tops out at 26 MPG highway?

Damn! That's a screaming deal, at least in this area. My brother sold his personal RS 2.0 last year for 17K, with over 20 thousand miles on it.

Dude... mine only has 9k on it, an 06. I'm printing that add and going to my dealer like right now. See if he'll trade me straight up for an FJ... lol... well, no lol. I'm serious. They know how I am.

CarMax seems to generally be a good place for ignorant sellers who don't know what they have. My coworker and her brother BOTH bought '06s with 20,000 miles for about ten grand! I thought the one her brother got in Houston was a fluke, but then Anne herself purchased one right here in Chicago for the same price.
Gives me faith that they're still available. Mind you, both were manuals, but I CAN DEAL.

EDIT: You know, that's the beauty of the no haggle pricing. Every now and then I stop by to say hello. Good relationships. Scion is cool like that. Now I've seen these dudes sell Toyotas, and holy schnikes, they're like pitbulls. I'd be ____ed if I bought a Toyota.
