You're going to have to remove, or unbolt/snap the bumper and lift it up a few inches to get to the other remaining screws that hold the light to the frame.

When i cleared my headlights, i unbolted the bumper, pulled it out of its snap clips and let it rest on the front impact brace. Also be very carefull of how you pull the headlight out. It sits a bit snug around the fender.

You know that looks like you need a lot of patience and space if you don't do that stuff very often. I don't think I would want to do that...sigh.

Yup, bumper cover needs to come off. Thank you Toyota for designing it w/ only 10mm bolts.

clearing is very tedious work and not fun! lol. if i had to do it all over again, i doubt i would. damn reflectors are hard to get out! not for the faint of heart either since you're ramming a screwdriver inside the only means of lighting up the road in front of ya

Well, taking your bumper off is a pain in the butt, but after you do it 4 or 5 times, it's pretty easy.

Together, Soon2BxB and I can steal a bumper in less than 60 seconds.

you can actually change your amber without taking off the bumper. i jus installed my headlights today and i noticed that you dont have to remove the bumper to change them. by the way my lights look sick... pictures comming soon.

Bad idea? Why? I did mine. It is fairly easy. I do suggest getting a set of dentist style pics. The long straight one really helped getting the last piece of amber to come out.

By the way you can whack the lens pretty hard and not damage anything. I managed to do it with scratching the headlight in any way.

And Im a girl........

It is way worth it to........

I got the bumper off in about 10 min. It's pretty easy...

And to those who are afraid to make the jump, clearing the headlights is not all that hard, and it makes a HUGE difference. Save your money on aftermarket lights and go for it.

right you dont have to take the bumper off just remove the grill, remove the top 2 screws and the pull out tab, remove the screws in the fender well(only the bottom one holding the bumper), carefully pull the sides of the bumper out of the fender and rotate your bumper towards the ground and it will expose the other 2 screws(one on side and one on bottom)..................Volia
