Default How Do I remove the Wiper Cowl?

How Do I remove the Wiper Cowl? Has anyone removed this? Im geting a new windshield installed- they said they need to remove the cowl- I rather do this myself because, On my last car- They F'ed-it up!

Can someone who has done this PLEASE hook me up?!?!?

I bake you some COOKIES!!

EDIT: By wiper cowl, I mean the two panels underneath the wipers...

open up the hood and there are some plastic screws that u can remove and then u can pull it out

Thanks, I got that far- Their is 5 or 6 screw clips on the bottom edge, then thier is two big clips at the fenders (which I cant figure out how to remove) . Then you have to remove the wipers. Then does it just pull off!?!?!

It's been a while but I think the clips on the sides have a center piece that needs to be pried up. Do you see little notches around it? Slide a thin screwdriver in and pop the center. If I'm picturing the right ones...

The cowl is two pieces, it splits in the middle. You should be able to unclip the two parts and slide them out. Just be careful of the corners of the hood. Thats what scratched mine a little...

thanks Guys!! Any other tips?? how is it attached to the windsheild- Or is it?

You said it will slide out- meaning it inst attatched to the windshield??

not attached to the windshield at all....u do have to remove the wipers though to get it all the way off
