How do you remove AT shift knob in xB??

Default How do you remove AT shift **** in xB??

Does anyone know how to remove the shift AT shift ****? I tried searching and didn't come with any directions to unplug wires or anything. There seems to be something connected to or plugged into the shift **** once remove the 2 screws. If anyone can help me out it be much appreciated.

What you're having problems is the overdrive switch. I haven't personally removed the ****, but u gotta somehow slide it past the O/D button. Good luck, maybe someone else has more info.

Yeah, I figured as much. Thx for trying pharynx. However, I can't really tell what needs to be unplugged or how to slide the shift ****. I hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

Same question here, I am not interested (yet) in removing the bottom assembly, just the ****.
