Default How I stopped everyone from asking "What is it?"

This is what I did because I was tired of everyone asking "What kind of a car is that?"
I took a trunk star from one of my old cars and decided to stick it on for a laugh and drive over to my Mercedes repair shop. I had just finished putting the star on and was under the dash doing some wiring when I heard a group of kids walking down the street. One of them said "That's a Bad A$$ Mercedes!" I almost hit my head laughing. The shop owner laughed when I showed him. One of his mechanics told me that I should tell everyone that it's the new A Class, since no one has seen them in this country. It's amazing that since I put it on last week I haven't been asked even once.
I got the idea from reading the forums here and was sick of all the questions ranging from who makes that, to what country of origin manufactures that car. Giving stupid people stupid answers got old.

Actually the XA looks more like the A Class than the XB. Here's the link.

But who cares, no one knows what a Scion is either!
Although if they release the A Class here in the States I think I'll have to get one.

I thought about doin that to my xA for gags. . . it would look cool, but I was worried ppl would think I was trying to play it off as an MB, rice style. . . so I didn't do it.

IMHO, anyone who puts ANY other badging other than what it is on it (except for the vvti badge or bB, since it's still the xB), is an idiot.

I saw one the other week at Islands (TCM) with the old school MB logo on the front, the big circle one on the back, G 55 badge on the back left, MB rims, and Fletcher Jones license plates and lp holders. I wanted to shoot the person. Lamest. Thing. EvAr.

But that's just my .02...

Well you hit the nail on the head with that one. I'm an idiot, have been for a long time and I'm too big of one to change now!
Sorry you don't see the humor in it.
Now hook me up with Sun Destin please.

Yee Haw! HomeRun!!! Maybe I'll change mine!!

I adorned mine in Freightliner only to realize nobody knows what the hell that is!!! (It's the best and most common Semi on the road).

I did get in a tight spot the other day when I went into a chrome shop next to a truck stop. When I came out, four truckers were ogling it. I normally tell people it's my joke on the world, but these guys don't look like the laughing type when you make fun of their livleyhood.

So when they asked, is it really a frieghtliner? "Yep, it's the new Sprinter GL" Oh! They all responded. I got in my 'Rig' and bolted before they got wise!
