I would like to know how long did it take you to do your 1st modding on your XB when you got the it ? :D

 

I had my intake 2 weeks before my car was available.

Installed it, ground kit after 4 miles stock.

 

Don't know if it's a mod but I added the TYC tailights first...

 

badges were off the back end within 15 min. of being in the driveway.

 

taillights, fog lights, tint....3 days.

 

My first mod was the rear wiper.. i took it off about 3 days after i got it, and that same day the badges..

 

oh yeah.. taillights and tint.. that same day also..

 

Taillights, Headlights(projectors), Tint, Hood, Spoiler, Rims/Tires, SRI 1-2 weeks after purchase.

Well I don't consider debading a "mod" but that was done within the first hour of ownership. Along with the OEM armrest installed.

I put Vinyl on the rear quarter windows a year later. Got window visors but they broke during shipping.

 

I drove from the dealer to the wheel shop, then put on the rear spoiler, tails, and new shift ****. Next day I put in subs and had the windows tinted. Got the cruise installed about a week later.

 

Hmmm--hard to remember. I think I got the color matched intake and front strut bar about a month after I got the car. Then Wheels and springs about a week or two later.

 

Debadgind isn’t a mod but armrest install is? Is that because the armrest install required a screw driver?

Agreed....

It took me two hours after I had it to start putting cathodes under the seats, make a tint shop appt., and have my HID kit ordered.

 

I think a mod is ANYTHING added to or taken off of a stock box - no matter how small. Sure, adding seat covers isn't gonna win you MOD of the year award, but it still is a change nonetheless!@#

Having said this, my 1st mod was making a hole in the small cubby hole right above the glove box...

why? ;]

I am using a laptop in my xB and wanted to hide all necessary wires. I made this hole and ran my power wire and audio wire (connected to the aux. sound input ) through this hole... when I take my tablet laptop out of the car, i simply hide the wires and POOF! you cant tell there was anything in my car! the interior looks completely stock! ;]

* PS - a lot of people don't considering what I do in my xB (using a tablet laptop for navigation, music, movies, etc) a mod.... To all those people - i tell them to kiss my a$$ - twice.

 

i had mine a couple weeks before i added the 3rd brake light applique

 

I had my projectors a week before i got the box...then shims 2 weeks later then shoes/cf spoiler. too many cc and leds to list, strobes, drop, vinyl, grille. and I've only had it 3 months...

 

I had my upgrades in box sitting in my house for two months hahaha. Just two weeks ago did I put the first one in.
