Default How long did u wait to get your xB?

I went to the dealer and he said he could get my the color I wanted in like 3-4 days. He calls back after those days and said they are having trouble finding the color and don't have one to trade anyone. He calls back a few days later and said they had to order it for me and it will be in in like 2 wks. Is a month about average for getting a new xB?

They kept telling me it was a rare color to have for MD so I was going to have to wait. I even told them another dealer in PA that had the color I wanted but they couldn't get it for me somehow.

I guess it'll be worth it when I get my Polar White 05 sitting in the driveway!

Aqua! What dealer is giving you that B.S.?

Carmax has two PW xBs in their inventory. One manual and one auto.

http://www.carmax.com/dyn/factsheet/...spx?id=2427370

If you get the manual you save $2 off MSRP! $2!!

well it just depends .... Apparently its was hard to find a TCM MT xB in Oregon. all the xB's my dealer is getting are all autos. my dealer said less than 30% are MT. mine was dealer traded for a BOP to get my TCM. According to my dealer, thier only getting in 4 every two weeks!! took a week to get mine!!

Its supply and demand my friend....

Get this another toyota dealership in my area that does not sell New scions, is selling a 2004 xB w/ 22k miles- it was BSP, auto, stock hubcaps, scratches all over and two huge screw holes in the dash- get this FOR $17,999!!!! And they told me that someone was interested in buying it because they did not want to wait.

Hang in thier!!

My dealer had a couple dozen xBs on the lot, at least one of each flavor. So I picked the color and tranny I wanted and we wrote the puppy up. In and out in 3 hours. Came back the next week to have the spoiler and window tint installed.

I stopped in when I saw the 05 Polar White sitting on the lot and starting talking to the dealer. He said unfortunately the other Scion Rep. already had a buyer put some money down on it and couldn't sell it to me. Then he started looking when his next shipment would come in and the other Rep. told him that the other guy actually didn't put a money hold on it so he could sell it if he wanted to. So I scooped it right up. It only had 17 miles on it. I wonder if that guy came back yet and found out his Polar White is now MY POLAR WHITE, hahahahaha!

I'm still waiting. Long story short, no one in my area had the color/transmission that I wanted, so the dealer I'm buying from had to wait for his next allocation. Supposedly my BCP 5-speed (BOP was my first choice, but I can deal) was in NY a week ago and should be in my driveway within two weeks. We'll see . . .

Thompson Scion.....Only reason I went through them is convience of the store location to me, its a 10 minute drive down the road. It would be a hr + to laurel to check on the CarMax ones. Kinda hard to do with no wheels....LOL

But thanks for the links....if Thompson doesnt come through by the 1st week in september I may be ____ed enough to go somewhere else!
