Default How to make my Black Box stand out/Be Cool? Gimme Advice! :)

Alright I've had my Black Box for over a year now, and I'm still in love with it. But after going to a few meets, shows, etc..i see the white and other colored boxes with the carbon fiber hoods, lips, etc and they stand out and I LOVE it, I LOVE that two tone look they get, etc.
So yeah, I've got a carbon fiber gas cover on my box, it looks cool, but nothing like the carbon fiber look on White/Orange/Camo Boxes, ya know? So I dunno, i've got wheels, i've got the TYC's and exhaust, i've got the drop...how can i make my box look cool and stand out a bit more, so people go "wow".
I kinda almost wish I got a White one now, or a Diff color, but i gotta work with what I got...so bring it on!

Oh yeah, I wanna get new wheels eventually, most likely...but I want More! No GRAPHIX either!!
so yeah, here's a few pictures, bring on the input and advice. thanks

Jeff

body kit. projector headlights. new grille. things like that will definetly bump it up a notch. i was having the same problem so im going totally JDM to set myself apart. i understand the uniqueness you want and how you want to be noticed. you say no graphics, but remember they are cheap and get it done effectively!

sorry i cant help more

If you like white, paint the bottom half white, leave the top blue. I think white is the cleanest color, but then again I may be biased since I have one Two toned boxes are hot....

yea paint is always hot, but expensive. i dont have projectors yet. i clearned mine out and i love it. unless i get one hell of a deal, im sticking with these

two tone is sick on the xB. one of the best vehicles to pull it off.

If you don't want graphics (BTW, red vinyl on a black box would look way hot!! Maybe a flame or tear outline...), go with chrome, polished stainless, and high polish billet. Door handles, grilles, and mirror covers to start, then move on to rear bumper protector, B & C pillar appliques, etc.

Just my thoughts. If you decide on that route, drop me a line and I'll hook you up with the right people, okay?

Dude you can debadge it, get a new grill, projectors, tints, that will make look GooD

If you want to go crazy! Lambo doors, Body kit, 2-tone it and BAG it + ^^^ and you will have one of the sickest xB's out there!!!!

that would be a start definetely, can you email me some links, or post some pics of box'es with that type of stuff? (the chrome stuff, etc).....i'm not into the flame or tear thing personally, it works for some people but it's not for me...but the chrome stuff does sound good, and hey it would give it a bit of a two tone look......

i'd have to see how it looks first of all, but yeah, gpost some pics or gimme some info..you dont think chrome would be too much on a black box?

thanks all for the input btw

Look at hahajoey's car. It's super low and has massively awesome wheel fitment. Do that and people WILL notice your car. If he had a noblesse body kit, his car would be the best one in America.

I have a BSP and I love it. I also have graphics in the form of flames and I think they look pretty good, but as you say , you're not into flames, what about a tribal print of somekind? There are plenty of designs you could get and you would probably be surprised at what a good graphic shop can do for you. Just a thought. Good luck in whatever you decide.

chrome, chrome, chrome, if done right it would look very nice on a black xb, maybe a billet grill and some chrome wheels, nothing big and gaudy

Alright all, thank you for the input...still looking for answers to a few of my questiosn though, so i'll just be annoying and list them all here. :-P

1. concerning chrome itsms, polished stainless, and high polish billet. Door handles, grilles, and mirror covers ,rear bumper protector, B & C pillar appliques, etc. etc. etc. does anybody have pictures of these items on a black box? or at least a link to where i can buy them so i can see what they look like?

2. concerning hahajoey's car. i've been told he's super low and has massively awesome wheel fitment. What's he got set up on his? I could not find pictures on his profile, of course I dont wanna copy him..but it'd be nice to see at least, and maybe get an idea of something SIMILIAR i could do... what kind of drop is he ridin on, what sized rims?

anyways, please anybody else, feel free to add some more input, i'm eatin it up and i DO appriciate it.

i have a bsp xb and i wanted to buy every carbon fiber part that they make for the xb(hood,grill,lipkit,handles,wing,hatch,mirrors,fenders,etc.etc).it will def. look a lot cleaner on a bsp, then other color xb's because the diff. in color from bsp and cf is a lot less. but i live in an apt. and don't have the space for all the oem parts so i decided to 4get that, and stay with the clean jdm style. if you dont have the$$$ for all that cf then just use the oem kit or buy a high quality jdm kit. slap on some nice=(high quality , name brand, wide/deepdish w/polish lip, 15"-19")wheels w/ hipari(stretched) tires. buy a good coilover setup=(high quality, expensive, but good ride, excellent engeneering) and slam it on the ground. i know you have wheels already but to me they don't stand apart from a lot of other wheels that people slap on. i remember back in the day, when you could drop your car and slap on some rims and you were wowing people on car cruises and winning shows. now i see the wackest crappiest cars running knockoff name brand rims. wheels have become so cheap and available that to see a aftermarket wheel on a car is not even noticeable anymore.hope this helps. man if you dont get more p_ssy and win shows after that, you cannot be helped!

hahajoey's box: (btw, mad props lovin the vip look)

heres mine (photoshopped drop till tomorrow when i'll install my coilovers):

in the end it's all about style. people say jdm this and jdm that, but some jdm cars are just as ricey or worse then some u.s. ricers(you ever seen a 5 foot exhaust shaped like a star at any car shows here?) even VIPcar style was so ricey before it developed and changed in to a much cleaner style. i like the jdm clean race inspired or modern clean VIPcar style, the best.
