So far over 1,000,000 people have purchased cars off of e-bay. My experience was the best and I'd do it again. Just check out the carfax report, talk with the seller and ask questions. For my purchase, I had to put $500 down, get there (400 miles) then test drove the car and pay for the car. Transaction took about 30 minutes. It is still under warranty, which is another reason why I did not have much of a problem buying it on e-bay, and it was also a fun road trip. Oh, and all of my friends either think I'm crazy or cool. Good luck~

don't you love it when dealers price used xb's for more than
the brand new price? i've seen it hitting almost $20k....
i asked why so expensive?
they said people assume a used car price has to be lower
than the new car price. so if they can screw a customer...
so be it since they stupid enough to pay that much.

U said u can only spend 13k, why dont u finance the other 3- 4gz left??? U dont have to do the contract for 5years, u cand do 6 month, 1 years, 2years, etc. a bone stock 06 Scion xB is 14750 or something like that. U could personilize it just a lil so it would look cool. Dont buy cars from e-Bay, they sell them cheap, bcuz 1- Theres something wrong with them ( i dont think no one would give away free money in these days) 2- the car has too many mile on it. And most of the time they want u to go pick it up to their place. I would recommend a new car from the dealer, 0 miles, warrantys, and a new car smell is the best when buying a car. Remember, buying a car is like getting married, u have to meet, get to know the rite one before u get married or u gonna end up in a divorce (in this case, selling the car). Its all up to u anyways.

Check with Hugh at Suburban Scion in Troy Motor Mall. He may be able to hook you up with new or used one. Also there were a few people in the classified section selling used ones for reasonable prices but you'd have to road trip to go get them. Good luck Bro!

The bB is the version that was sold in Japan. There is a new version of the bB now selling in Japan that is very different than the xB. The old version of the bB had the same body, but was not made for import. When a car comes to the U.S. it has to conform to our standards. This includes lights (ours requires amber turn signals and theirs does not), side impact protection in the doors, etc. Since there is no Scion in Japan--it has a Toyota badge. The body style was the same--just changes made to pass DOT standards (department of transportaion).

Default mrfuzzy4 LOOK!!!

Great advice for anyone looking for any Scion used or new. You can get a pretty good price on eBay motors. Seriously, they go for as low as 8 or 9K if you find the right auction. It's worth it, trust me. http://www.ebaymotors.com.
