I am about to buy black xa "basic" Manual Trans........ i was today by toyota and the price on it is 12.995 NOW + tax and reg title fee "shi7" cost about $14020


What do you think would i pay too much ?

but the lady there told me there is no hasle .......

I'm not getting the basic model simply because there are some things I don't want to mess with.

After fees, gap insurance, and sales tax I'm looking at 17,600.

That includes the silver/grey accent package, cold air induction, strut tie bar, cruise control, carpet mats, cargo liner, keyless entry, and in indigo ink pearl.

I'm going to have the windows tinted, custom wheels put on, and put a 12" single sub in for the time being. So I'm looking at about another $1,000 for the vehicle right after I get it saving almost 400-500$ than what the dealer would have charged.

I'm happy with what I'm getting, with a $2,000 down payment I'm looking at about 280-290$ monthly payments. And with that taken out of my paycheck I don't even see it

 

i got same for 14 000 btw the more thing'z you put from manufacturer you will pay more money then usualy ........


Go to ebay and check the prices on whatever you extra purchase with that car i bet you will pay less money.......

There are some things I'm not worried about paying a little more for even if I can get it much cheaper elsewhere.

I have never put a CAI system or strut bar on my car, I figure I'll let them get away with those two items. The other stuff is just minor items.

I paid approx. 13,800. Basice XA with Auto. That was the sticker, that is what I paid.

The tax is easy to figure out. Can't get away from paying sales tax.

the car that they want to give me had no cd in there at all looks like they broke it ..........schoudn't they lower their price even if its repaired?



I have couple more hours to buy that car ............

aiight everyone lets be serious with this guy...ok first off where else can you buy a car like this under $15k..second how many cars can you get in general for under $15k.. and third why would you complain about a car that costs under $15k.. the reason why there is cd player is because the cars are shipped w/out one..so nothing broken..any other complaints..oh and by the way even if the did have the ability to dicount these cars theres only about $500 in mark up anyway..not a real big savings!!!

 

sorry for being harsh but im sooo tired of people trying to negotiate these cars..things cost money for a reason..pay up or buy a used car..then you can negotiate on something thats already lost value

second of all: Dealers are DEALERS and we are Customers "business "
in order to sell a car you WILL give some discount but still get money from that Customer

third of all:Yes i can buy car cheaper then 15k may not be 2005

And for your information the CD PLAYER-mp3 was already In the car they said they took it a part because they need it for another car by doing that they broke the dash trim .....

So dont be a smart one i am just asking if some1 got the same care for cheaper deal then 14000 manual nothing alse..........

sorry to be harsh too but i still belive that i have right's to ask if some1 got cheper then i can get ......the reason why is "because i never bought a car in FULL price i always lower it for 1000-1500$ min!" i was a delear in germany .............

 

i think all the prices are pretty much the same because it's suppose to be "no haggle pricing". however, i don't know why it still takes so long to close a deal. i figure, 15 minutes for test drive and 45 minutes to sign all paperwork should be sufficient enough.

 

i payed 15.5 with extended warrenty 100k mile one or i would have paid 14.4

 

Yoooooooooooooooooooo i bought a car ok this is what i got

12.995 at dealer ship + tax 650.ca with 3 years warranty or 60 000

they put wing on it and cd changer "that was a deal" the car is basic.....


As i know even if its new car you ALLWAYS schould hasle with them
i hasle for 5 days! every day i went ther say man i really like to have that car but still the price is too much ....

on 4th day i said i will go to my bank get the check come here for amount you ask but you will have to give me cd changer + wing ........... they said NO ........
today i went to my bank finance it 4.75% get to dealer ship show them the check that they could recive ...........

belive me they took it !

allways allways hasle if you dont you loose min. of 200-500$

 

if you were able to get a dealership to throw anything in i believe that goes against the Scion rules..so more power to you..the way i look at it is..these cars are so hot right now that if you dont want it great the next guy will so why would i want to loose money on a low profit sale..doesnt make sense, but good job none the less

Of course, I didnt feel screwed on pricing the way a lot of dealerships do ya... they order all sorts of crap and "thats just what we have" vehicles... I tried to haggle my way to a Mazda 3- and those jerks wouldnt budge.

What exactly is the profit margin on each of the three Scions? if its only $500... then man, thats like low profits... at least for most car dealerships.

 

i am glad if they give me SOME deal then straight full price with nothing .....i am even glad if they give me 20 $ to fill up my gas hahahahahhahahh
