Don't buy it from the dealer. Reason why Power and most dealers dont have any because they are waiting on the 2006 xB and NOT the 2005 like that STEALERSHIP is trying to sell to you.

Sticker (bone stock with cargo cover option-$50): $15050
January 2004 Trade in credit for a new car: $300
(although I bought mine in Feb' 2004, the sales person let get the deal). The car was waiting at the lot the last week of Jan. Wouldn't sell it to me until Feb 03, 2004.

New sticker price: $14750
5% Tax + dealer "processing fee": $800
"Required" deposit: $500
Trade In: $1850
Downpayment (cover tax and processing fee and to lower payments): $1100
Finance price: $12,100

Default Paid: 15,483

15,199 for 05 Standard w/ : subwoofer, B Pillar aplique, Blue Led Interior, Floor Mats, Cargo Net, Door Sill Accents, Leather Lebra, Bumper Apllique

with Guam vehicle registry, and some other fee it ends up being 15,483 out the door.

they are running an 05 blowout sale where they are modding them, and giving away the mods for Free i lucked out on my Blue Onyx Pearl. Plus i got a 300.00 gift card for Sears (sub sucks, but it was free so i'll take it) I wouldn't buy all that crap, but like i said it was free for goin with the 05 which is already $500.00 cheaper. no brainer

Bought mine at Smithtown scion for $15,620.

It was sitting in the showroom on a Sunday afternoon right around closing time.

Bought it on the spot.....No salesman pressure.

Would highly recommend Smithtown Scion.

Nice honest upfront people......

The dealer in Norwalk Toyota wanted to sell me a "BASIC" Xb (auto) for like 16,563 (so it came out to be with tax $18,161.32, mind you, this is a 2005!) thats way too much for a basic XB 05'.

Internet auto guide reports:
MSRP--- ----Invoice
13,680---- --$12,995

Consumer Guide Automotive reports:
MSRP---------- -------- Invoice
$13,730-14,530------ $13,043-13,803

Edmunds:
MSRP-------- Invoice
$14,530-----$13,803

Plus, he said i could buy it today but I would not be able to take it off the lot! Until September 1st. He said because "TOYOTA" requires them to always have a car for demonstrations (you know so poeple can take a look at and to test it out.) The funny thing is that they did have another one (but it was slightly modified it was like $1,000 more) but that one i could take that that day, wich didn't make any sense to me?

WHy would they need the one i want for like a week but i could take the more expensive one, that day?????

That's not simple, straightfoward or convenient!! Thats B.S.!!!

I went to Power Toyota Cerritos and to Penske Toyota they didn't have any in stock and they didn't have a demo car. WTF!?!? and like Power Toyota Cerritos is like one of the largest Toyota dealers around. So why would Norwalk Toyota need a demo? especially when they have 2 XB's...

So how much did you pay for your Scion Xb?? ( include what transmission you got and accessories)

Damn those prices are all over the place. First off don't buy a basic one for $16,563.00 that is insane and the dealer should be shot. Yes Scion dealerships are allowed to set there own prices, but they have to give everyone the same the price. I would never exect anyone to buy an xB for more than the MSRP that shows on the sticker. On the flip side of that though I would also not expect a dealership (at this point anyway) to sell it for less than the price on the sticker. The reason I say that is because right now in Houston it is nearly impossible to find an xB. Infact we are back to a 3 week waiting list.

The prices that you found on Edmunds are going to be exactly correct as far as MSRP and invoice. The only difference between edmunds and the other two is that Edmunds includes the destiantion fee, and the other two list it seperatly. If you look at the difference in the dealer invoices and MSRP if you were going to get the car how much do you think that dealer would discount the car? Keep in mind that there is no dealer hold back, advertising fees and so on with Scion. Toyota does require the Dealer to have a car on the lot at all times for test drives, but it does not have to be a base one. Ours in fact has about $5,000 worth of accessories and it is not for sale and won't be for about another year. Sounds to me like you need to see another dealer.

I paid about 17100. I went in told them what i wanted and picked it up 4 days later, no problems, no pressure. The only thing i regret is buying the alloys knowing i was going to buy rims for it in the near future

$14, 395 for the base '06 Box. After tax and fees the total was $14,752.25. So far the wisest investment of $14,752 I've made.

$ 15,150 OTD for an 05' xB MT

Fogs, Spoiler, Mats, rear bumper app, and personalized plates that read "MATS XB"

Keep in mind that in Oregon, we have no sales tax........

BTW, "prue price" is not crap. A dealer can charge $50,000 for an xB if they want. Prue price means that the price of the Scion and all of the accessories and maintenence is menu priced.

Meaning the price you see at that particular dealer is the price you pay.

MOST dealers charge MSRP, but accessories and maintenence differ radically......

best advice is to go to another dealer that charges MSRP...

i m that sells man my name is Jerry Rodriguez and i work for Norwalk Scion and the reason why i have a demo is cause i sell the cars before they actually get here so some people want to drive the car before they actually buy it. Now that xb he is talking about has Rear Spoiler, Fog Lights, 6 in dash and the B-pillar Applique, thats why it was 16 and some change, now the reason why we cant sell it its cause Toyota wont let us. So dont be giving Norwalk Toyota a bad name cause we r just following Toyota's rules.

if n e body has n e questions just give me a call at 562-868-0035 thanx

you're charging extra for a head unit that's supposed to be coming in ALL '05 xB's??? -- and is supposed to be retrofitted to 6-disc if there's already a single-disc in place....

-USDM version foglights - overpriced junk
-b-piller appliques - overpriced eyecandy that's 1/5th the price on eBay
- rear spolier - more eye candy and 1/3rd the price aftermarket. ... and does not do the supposed job it was meant for (keeping window cleaner)

-- don't forget to add the $495 U.V. paint protection (wax/glaze), the $350 fabric protection (1 can of scotchgard), the $150 pinstripe (the independent vendor got a $10 P/O to put it on), the $495 full tint job (the tinter got $130 if he was lucky and had to wait 60 days on a P/O), $295 undercoating ($6.95 a can - and just as worthless), $300-500 doc fee (imagine paying a 'doc fee' everytime you bought ANYTHING... it's the cost of business... suck it up)....... and on and on and on.

- but on post

paid 18.1k cash on the RS1 out the door
paid 16.5k cash on the white one out the door

I got my 2006 right at sticker price. Then minus tax & stuff because my trade in covered that.
