how much do you folks think i can sell my XB for?
Hello everyone,
Ive had my xb for a little over a year. its a stock 2005 xB with 6 disc changer and subwoofer as the only option. I love the little box, but i cant deal with the lack of power. I thought at first that i could but its just too underpowered. the Next vehicle im thinking of picking up is a Lexus IS 350.
Anyways i want to get a decent amount. does anyone have any idea on how much i can sell it for?

don't know where you live, but they have sold for more that retail.
there is a waiting list of a month or more in some areas. this demand allows people to get more in the resale.

yea I agree, the demand is really high for them right now. If its still in good condition and probably a more popular color like the BOP, BSP, or Thundercloud Metallic, you should be able to get a pretty good price. If you've had it for a year though and you only put 2 accessories in it, I would guess somewhere around 2,000 less than what you paid for it. Just a guess though, you might find some fool willing to pay more just because the demand is so high and the supply is low.

Go to CarMax if there is one close by. Online they have a 2005 Scion xB, Auto, with 6K miles running at $15,998 (CarMax in Las Vegas). Looks stock from the pic. No alloys. Trade in on that might have been $10.5-12K.

I heard a Honda dealer where my kid works was told by a salesman that they sold someone and box for $17.100 used 05 5 speed, the people couldn't find one they said........even more funny is the toyota dealer is right next door !! They could have walked over while parked at honda and got a price on a new one then went back and bought it for about sticker at least..........So the sales guy said.....!!
Although all hearsay at this point he did the detail on it and said it was nice and clean for a used one so maybe they got a deal !!

When I started shopping for my xB, every used one I found was going for more than a brand new one. I got lucky and they had a BCP one on the lot that someone was suppose to pick up but never came back. Their loss, my gain...but they are hard to come by.
