How Rouge got me out of a ticket
just wanted to let everyone know that i was drivin down to Southern VA, from Northern VA, becuase my g/f's grandmother passed away, and i got pulled over. the police officer said i was doin like 98 in a 65 and then procedded to ask me all sorts of questions about my car. he asked what kind of car it was, and even mentioned that he had never seen one like it before. we talked about my car for like 15min. then talked about scion cars in general, he then just told me to make sure to slow down and to have a good holiday weekend. if my XA isnt da shizznitt i dont know what is.
oh btw i have a phantom gray XA, so i call her Rouge (or the Phantom Menace), but Rouge is nice and short

I wish the cop that got me on Saturday was as interested...
All he said was "I was doing 80 and you were pulling on me." BTW, this was going UP the Sunol Grade in my Auto Box...

Oh man.. have I got a story!
I went to a strip club for a friend's birthday (I SWEAR!). After I parked, I was walking toward the club and a tall man in uniform drives up to me in a golf kart. He goes to me, "Are you the driver of that Scion xA?" as he jumps out of the kart. I'm like "Um, yeah...." I almost pooped a brick. I thought I did something wrong. He continued with "Ah, cool! You mind if I ask you some questions? I'm really thinking of buying one. I've never seen it in white. White is the shi*! Your car looks freakin' tight!" So I talked to him for about 5 minutes, then headed into the club.
A couple hours later, my friends and I walked out to the parking lot. My friend said I had a yellow paper on my car. I'm like "What the..." thinking I got a ticket or someone hit my car and left a note. I totally forgot about the security guard I talked to earlier. As I get to my car, he "jets" by on his golf kart. I looked at the paper on my windshield and it said "Please wait for security." He asked me a few more questions about the front seats, Zeta armrest, tint, etc...he also asked to sit in the car, etc. He was pretty cool. Nice guy :D

hmmm... all I got when I was pulled over was a ticket and the question of "were you racing this evening?" At that single, solitary, defining point in my life I felt like saying:
If I was racing, I'd have been going faster.
I was smart and kept my mouth shut.
