I've been driving in Chicago for nine years, and I've never seen anything like that!
Then again, there's usually enough salt on my car to melt snow off OTHER cars, so I can't say I'm surprised. @_@

I notice yesterday as well the hub cap on a Ford Utility Van ( look like a dog dish ) and it had ice spikes like that. Look like a dirty dog collar. Yeah, the weather in NJ sucked yesterday, thank goodness Spring is only weeks away.
