I have a wife and kid and am not looking to pimp this ride, save for maybe some new wheels and a bit here and there. We were looking at the Xa for awhile but I just drove teh Xb today -- and loved it! So, I went ahead w/ the Ebay auction I was watching. Buying a car on Ebay -- how nutty is that?

 

Now I gotta get me a pretty pic to put next to my name like ya'll cool folks...

its not nutty at all, I used to sell cars on ebay for a career at my last job...its a great idea and it can save you lots of money...congrats on the ride, it looks super nice and clean..just need to get some new wheels hope it all works out for you.

In fact, call me an idiot, but I bought this in FLORIDA. It just so happens I live in MICHIGAN!. My wife is a flight attendant so I can zip down there for free, but I'll still have to drive it back up north. But it's my new car, danm it, I'm looking forward to the drive. (and for good measure, I'll be stopping in Atlanta and visiting the MLK Center).

 

I know you saved some, but for $3,000 more I would rather have a brand spanking new one.

Those Toyota caps actually look better to me than the Scion standard, but I'll be getting some rims most likely.

I called about the airbags. She went and looked and said she saw 5 -- which doesn't make sense to me. I'm assuming it will be standard dual front airbags. If there are more, I'll be happy.

What are the airbag options for the Xb?

 

Maybe it has airbag suspension on each wheel=4,+ the drivers steering wheel airbag=5+passenger side airbag=6 J/K,it looks great,I'm sure your going to enjoy it.
