I am about to purchase an xb sometime soon. We are looking at the 05' model, but have heard speculation about the 06'. Is it worth the wait to get the 06'??? and whats the whole deal about something big in 07'?? I need all of your opinions people because i dont wanna buy then have doubts after purchase,,,, thanks in advance...

My suggestion is get what you would rather have. The concept for the t2b is interesting. but how many times have you seen a car with that much design freedom make it to production with that much of the design allowed? If you want an xB get it. If you want to wait out to see what Scion actually releases do that. If you don't like it then you can always pick up a previous year sitting on a dealers lot or get a used one.

if you not sure or have any doubts do some research scion.com would be a good place to start or you can call and get more info on there products,my opinion i would buy a 06 instead of an 05 from what i have heard they are making then better each year so far...

Wait; and see what comes for 06/07. You'll always be able to buy
a used 05 with low miles.

Local dealer told me when I purchased my 05 last month that there will likely be very few if any changes in the xb for 06.

Dealers will say anything to make a sale, obviously.

Unless you gotta have a virgin, save a little money and get an older one. Then, as per the Technical Service Bulletins, have the AC upgraded and the slow filling gas tank problem fixed -- if they haven't already been by the previous owner. Oughtta be some clean xBs coming off lease soon. Then you have extra money to customize.

something odd I've found around here, 04's that haven't sold are selling for ~100 dollars more then new 05's....that's crazy stuff.

Just wait until gas hits $3.00. Then we'll be driving a gold mine. People will pay $20 grand for a used one.

Either way, there won't be any dramatic changes between years.

i agree the dealer would say anything to get your business, from what i read scion did made some improvement on the xb like the ac and the paint on the 2005 i'm hoping they would improve on the gas mileage on the 06 and up.....

If you can afford to wait the year, don't need a new car or don't mind, go for it!

It was an easy choice for me, having not had a car for 6months and finally coming across such a wonderful car like the xB!
