Today I convonced my parents to help me buy a XB. I live in frederick md and test drove one at Darcars Toyota to get my first real scion experience.

so here is the problem I have narrowed the color choice down to black, and TCM but I can't decide.



Please Post pictures of black or TCM Xbs so I can see what it will look like and make up my mind

i love black but you better be ready to take care of it about 3x as much as any other color, i think the TCM is the only color that has stronger paint. Hotbox can you verify this?

 

TCM

 

TCM is easier to match various accesories to. Less work.

 

TCM is a lot easier to keep clean, but a lot of people seem to have them (not necessarily a bad thing, you just have to do a few things to set yours off).

 

TCM was my first choice until they came out with the RS2 edition. TCM is much easier to keep clean and looks better IMO. Get what ever floats your boat, either way you will not be disappointed. Congrats, good luck, and keep us updated..

 

What color is the TCM? Sorry I dont know that much...

I was in the same boat about 6 months ago. Decided to go TCM because I sat in front of both cars (in person at the dealership) and, as clouds passed etc. the TCM just looked more appealing.

 

you can hardly see dust on the xB if its TCM. TCM is grayish color, not like silver...

 

I always buy black cars so my xB is black. Just depends on your tastes.

 

I say take the first one you can get your hands on. I passed on a TCM two weeks ago and haven't been able to find any other xB's for sale.

 

I have a BOP one. It looks nice.

 

black is very aggressive, but hard to keep it clean
tcm has stronger paint and easy to keep it clean

I would prolly get a black one b/c it's rare.

 

TCM was my first choice as well... then I learned of the BOP. Blue Onyx Pearl all the way.

 

BCP!....or I would go with the TCM ease of maintenance and styling

 

my xb is black. it does take more effort to keep it clean looking, but the tcm cant touch it when its clean and shiney. plus it looks sweet with all the windows tinted.

Get polar white! Sure...white is so basic. But when modded properly, white is the best, cleanest color (when lowered w/ black rims and cf hood/accesories, PW is like whhhheeeewwww ). I would probably go w/ the black tho. Black is much nicer and more professional looking, and when modded will look better. The grey is kinda "eh".
