Default ichiba rear spacers

Just put in xxr501s 16x8s and I want to add some rear spacers...I'm thinking the Ichiba 15mm. Couple of questions...version 1 or 2? Which is safer? And does anyone have any pics with 15mm spacers? Searched the forums..can't find any threads with pics.

Thanks....

dont do that, i am running the 15x8 xxr 501's and i am getting the 10mm hub spacers from randode.com

10mm will bring the rears even with the fronts and they are almost $100 cheaper than the ichiba spacers (and probably safer)

randode 10mm spacers click here

15mm and you will rub unless you drastically pull the fenders depending on how low you are. I have 15x8 with a +15 et and had to pull the fenders (I'm on s-techs). If you do go 15mm, Ichiba is a good product and they do sell the kit that includes the longer wheel studs.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm running a +15 offset, 16x8 xxr501s with 205/40/16 tires. Dropped on S-techs..don't really want to roll the fenders.

I was considering the version 2 ichiba spacers but after reading your posts, especially the one about rubbing on s-techs with a similar setup, I'm thinking those Randode 10mm spacers might make more sense. Would I need to replace wheel lugs with these? What do they come with?

Thanks for the help..

Damn edit button! I forgot to mention that I'm using the 10mm Hub spacers (should be the same as Randodes but mine are from OTG who I believe is no longer in business). Without the 10mm hub spacer I had no rubbing. With the 10mm spacers I had to roll the fenders. See if any other members in your area have a fender roller and a heat gun, it's pretty easy to roll the fenders with the right tools, just don't go oldschool and use a baseball bat!

the randode kit goes behind the brake drum, it comes with the bolts and the spacers, all you have to do is jack the rear end up, take your wheels off and then unbolt the 4 bolts that hold the drum onto the axel, then you put the spacers in, bolt the new bolts in (use some loc tite) put the wheels back on and your good to go. probably an hours work at the very most.

definitely go with the hub spacers. i've got 10mm OTG and 15x8 501s and couldn't be happier with the way they look now.

I am on Tein SS-P coilovers modified for maximum drop (roughly 6+ inches) on XXR 501 15X8 +15 and 195/50/15 rubber. I rub in the rears if I have somebody sitting back there, and it only rubs when I hit bumps. my fronts rub when taking a turn at a decent speed, its time to roll and pull my fenders.
