Default Im being tortured!

well, finally got my lazy as s into a dealership to get the ball rolling on finally obtaining my lovely xB.

but, now i have a problem..

I DONT KNOW WHAT COLOR TO CHOOSE!!

im torn between PW, SM, POB, and TCM.

this really sucks, i finally got to drive one for a bit of time today and now i need to quench my thirst. problem being, i cant decide on the color! blah!

ok, ill end my rant.. for now

as an additional note, isnt it kind of funny that you (the consumer) knows more about a product than the sales person?

I would go with the salsa red. If I didn't have a yellow box, that would be my choise.

Heh.. yea thats funny that the consumer would know more about a product than the sales person. I think it depends on how interested sales people are in their product.

As far as color... My favorite color is blue. I wish they made the Indigo Ink Pearl for the xB's. I also like the Azure Pearl on the tC's. I wish all of the colors were available for all of the models
But I went with PW because there weren't very many driving around Houston that I saw. Also I like how clean a white vehicle looks w/ super dark tinted windows. Not to mention the heat factor here in Houston. The white vehicle won't heat up as much as a dark one.
But thats just me.

well, my plan is getting some yummy carbon fiber stuff (hood, trunk lid, fender wells, etc.) done, and thats why im thinking white. with the tint and all, i think it would match just totally awesome.

but, after looking at the BOP, it reminds me of my moms old thunderbird she had with the blue flake and all.. *drool*

damnit, here i go again!

It seems the BOPs swirl much easier than most of the othor colors, and the TCM swirls the least, and no I am not talking about just being able to see them easier or not, although that's obvious.

PW looks good and clean and SM is nice and not so common since it's a newer color.

Yea I think white goes nice w/ CF.
Something I saw that I thought was pretty cool was a carbon fiber hood that was partially painted. It was the same color as the rest of the car on the edges and in the middle of the hood was the CF. It has to be done right to look good tho' for sure!!

i have no problem finding cf, im sure ill have a problem getting different parts with the same pattern to it though which is why id like one solid site for it.

then, hopefully, the patterns will be 100% with one another

I have a TCM and my wife has the BOP.I can tell you that it is easier to keep the TCM clean or looking cleaner than the BOP.With the dark color it shows dust and dirt more.If I were to get another one I might pick up White.I have seen a few and they just look sooo clean plus it gives you alot of choices on color combinations with wheels and things like that.

Nothing against the white but the biggest factor in my Salsa pick was white cars are everywhere and I was set on having a diffrent color then the majority of the population

my problem is ive been driving a red car for about 4 years now, think its about time to hang up the red.

but, then again, since they say red makes it look like youre going faster.. maybe i could fool people into thinking my xB is a speed demon..

wait, who am i kidding?!
