Just placed my order for a camo xb today and I am so happy to become part of the community. :D . Now to continue waiting impatiently.....come on June 14. Take care all.

I feel your pain man. I was told I would have my xB by the end of april then its mid may. Waiting sucks when you got floor mats and soom to have rims sitting in your room waiting for their new homes.

 

I feel your pain, I won't get mine til mid july.... My wife claims to be a Scion widow and I don't even have my xB yet. Must be because I spend every free minute on Scionlife. She says she's sick of hearing my talk about it too. Bet that will change once we get it.

 

Well at least your getting the 05's. Some 04 owners like myself are wondering what's different with the 05 Boxes. Ya'll better not be getting more power even if it says 109HP/106torque at the crank

Waiting for my black cherry xb sucks!!!!! At first it was "oh yea i can get that in 1 to 2 weeks no problem" well that has now turned into alittle over a month now. Im just waiting for the dealer to call me up and say "well the trasporter has crashed or sunk or whatever so bend over and take it like a man for another month!" on the plus side it did give me time to research a few products and order new wheels so i dont have to ride around on the big pimpin hubcaps!

Welcome and hang in there. I don't know how you guys do it. Once I saw the xB in person and sat in one, I had to have it. (plus my Echo lease had about 2 weeks left...) It took them overnight to get a Camo in Auto and after waiting for the locator for a while I was about to say, nevermind, I'll take this TCM sitting right here. But I'm glad I waited for green. This is my fourth green ride out of the last 5 cars. I woulda got a green Echo but it would've been a drive+ and it was the week before XMas so I went with Silver.

Sorry, TANGENT...

Anyway, you guys'll love the Camo, it's the best color for hiding dirt , doesn't get all swirly scratchy like the other dark shades, almost changes colors at night. and just generally looks good...

Lots of camo fans in here.... great minds think alike lol. Just got the call from the dealer couple days ago saying my orders been placed and he will contact me soon with the vin and actual date. The first month of this wait was bad but the second is going a little faster. Ahhh, if only i could take a nap for about a month....

I got a call from the dealer saying...we should have your car by May 20 or so...its a 2005 and it will be there..unless Toyota decides to hold everything til the release date of June 15....which I certainly hope not...that would be sad thinking of my car just sitting waiting to be driven... :D He said they had to put the spoiler on in port but could do the cruise when it comes in...everything else Im doing later. So it would be cool if it were actually THIS month!!!
Im also going to do some pinstriping or something....haven't decided yet exactly what. I wish it were legal to have tints on all windows..but the front and front sides have to be clear....sigh....

Hello everyone,

just picked my camo xb up last friday. Had to wait 1 1/2 months and drive 2 hrs to Alanta. I love it.

 

Too bad y'all don't live in VA. I've got a camo xB with a manual transmission at the port right now and it will be here this week. At least it will have company when it arrives as I also have a thunder cloud manual already here waiting for a good home.

Ummm... have you looked into air fare to the Washington DC area?

 

I've been waiting for my blue xa for about a month.

They couldn't find one with side airbags, so my wait took me through a polar white and black cherry which I passed up (those had side air).

Because it's taking so long I was able to find this forum and http://www.newscionparts.com/index.htm

I can buy what I want soo much cheaper on the scion parts site and install a lot of that myself.

 

Talked to the dealer today and he said...that Toyota is holding on to the cars in port so everyone will get the 2005's at the same time....sigh...so that means another month wait....sigh...oh well... Just thought I would keep everyone posted...
